question about m1330 and the T9300

Thread Starter
right now my M1330 has a T7500 in it, but i am wondering if the T9300 would generate less heat versus what i have now, and also does it still have cpu whine?

The T8300 in my XPS runs about 12degC cooler than the T7300 in my vostro just surfing etc,at load the difference is even bigger.

I can hear less cpu noise through headphones with the XPS,but that could be from other reasons.different layout, motherboard etc.

It would be interesting to hear your findings if you do decide to change to the T9300.

Yes, it would run cooler the T8100/8300 and T9300/9500 are built on 45 nm technology versus 65 nm for the T7XXX series. Not sure why exactly, but that translates into better heat management and extended battery life
