I read a report of the MR 9600, in which I'm terribly excited

, and found an interesting point.
"Notebooks are increasingly become multimedia stations. Users are using them to watch movies, output to TVs, and capture videos. TV tuners are becoming popular in notebooks and ATI is working with OEMs to implement this well. The MR 9600 has the usual H/W Video decoding and de-blocking and MPEG encode acceleration to assist in recording and timeshifting. Finally another mobile first, the MR 9600 has HDTV output. A HDTV component adapter has the option of being included in the notebook package."
So does the 9600 have an intergrated TV tuner?
A feature article on the Ati website does already state it has a TV-out encoder.
http://mirror.ati.com/technology/har.../features.html Will there be a need for the tuner shipped with the 888x series? Which do you think would be a better card, the one from Avermedia, or Ati? Will this intergrated tuner leave a spot open for something like another hard drive?
