Dell Inspiron 4100

Ok I have a Dell Inspiron 4100 that I barrowed from my school. There is nothing wrong with it except that the right hinge is broken & the power cord is missing or yeah and it needs a Cd drive. What do you think I should do keep the laptop or buy a new one.
