I'm using the belkin high-speed dock to connect my lcd screen
the picture is fine, but the color is a little off.
ie. if i open my firefox, the scroll and the menu bar area (where file, edit, view drop-downs are) do not appear grey as they should. instead, it appears white. So the grey area would blend into the white areas.
the lcd display i'm using is a dell 17" monitor
i've tried auto-adjust, manually configuring the contrast, brightness, the red, blue and green colors, but the colors are just a bit off. i do not see any settings in my windows that might fix this.
* when i use auto-adjust, while it is callibrating, the screen would keep flickering in an attempt to get the right colors. before the last adjustment it makes, i briefly see the colors being good but at the end of auto-adjust it will go back colors that are a bit off. so I don't suspect that the dock is unable to produce the right colors.
anyone have any suggest/advice on how to get the best colors? Thanks.
p.s.: in response to all the bad reviews that i've read to the belkin dock, i believe those users were using vista. this dock works flawlessly with windows xp (with all the latest updates). aside from this relatively minor color issue, i'm loving this dock.
