Media Centre or Media Direct

Friends,

As I got Viista Ultimate with my new XPS 1330 I am trying to decide on whether I use Media Centre to watch DVD's or Dell's Media Direct?

Any advantages or disadvantages?

Sound/picture etc.

Use media center, media direct is grainy when watching video looks kinda like 640x480 res
