Thinking about picking up this game now that it's out for PC.

Has anyone played it on console? If so, did you like it/would you recommend it?

Not sure since I haven't played it yet, but I'm picking it up tonight I'll let ya know how it is

I wouldn't bother. It's repetitive, boring and an overall let down.

I didn't even finish it on the PS3.

I read that about the console version....but I've read a few reviews that stated the PC version was more immersive and had lots of additional content.

Just picked up the game from the store, will try it out and report shortly!

Played for a while and I find that it's not the easier to get used to for me, but over time I will adjust. Save points are a pain too.

Overall the graphics are great and also the general feel is very good, it feels far more immersive than any other game I've ever played. The way the environment reacts to your presence is really different than any other game. Not my favorite ever but I would say it's worth getting.

Downloaded it last night.

I was a big fan of the Prince of Persia series and this is very similar. I think I still like the other series better than this though. Worth a play for the graphic/feel of the game anywho. I'm enjoyin it.

I'm looking forward to Prince of Persia 4 (or whatever the number should be)

Its held tightly under wraps so the only stuff we know about isn't really confirmed. They are also making a Prince of Persia movie.

Just dropping back in, I sorta had a bad taste after first playing but now I'm really into it. I think getting into the feel of the controls is a big part..now that I know what I'm doing I'm enjoying it much more, not to mention that although there is a specific mission there are so many ways to accomplish it.

Big control learning curve - at least for my old, perverse mind.

I attempted to play last night for about 10 minutes - after 15 or-so beers. My neighbors are a bad influence.

Oh god the game must've seemed pretty damn trippy after that

Also although you probably haven't found any yet, I find the Templars (l33t soldiers) so hard to kill you'll find them eventually in the city you'll have to venture to.

I do love the assassins blade, the one that pops out of your arm into the person. It's the only way to take down those templars aside from hoping you get lucky with a sword

Pretty trippy indeed - my head was spinning before I loaded it up - but DAYUMM...

I like the game (console version), but like Steve and hulioni, I'm a big fan of the PoP series and like platformers in general. Seems like it is a game better suited to console controls, but will be interested to see the ongoing comments for the PC version.

Okay - I got home this afternoon and played for about an hour.

I'm done.

Well, maybe not. I started playing again this weekend. The controls (keyboard) are way different. You have to use mouse button 2 (right click) alot.

Press and hold mouse button 2 and other keys (shift, space, E, F) for all of the combos. I find myself holding no less than 3 keys when I'm running (sprinting) from guards trying to find a hiding place.

Another note...some of the alternate objectives are downright impossible to complete. For example, the "destroy the market stands" missions. There is always a guard standing by, so you pick someone up and throw them into the stand. Guards are after you. You have to run to another stand and destroy it. By which time there are 20 guards trying to kill you. Trying to run and hide between destroying stand 1 and stand 2 is possible, but I always run out of time from the time I destroy stand 1, hide, destroy stand 2, hide, then have to run back to the dude that gave you the mission. Maybe I'm just too old.

Totally. That's why I bought it on the PS3. I'm surprised you don't have a gamepad shazza. It's a good investment for games like this.
