Hi,

Congrats on the purchase. That said, no intent to rain on your parade, but I just picked this up from the Outlet with a 15% off coupon

T7500 2.2/4mb/800fsb
256MB 8600 GT
120GB 7200 RPM
2GB RAM
DVD RW
6 cell batter
1yr @ home

For 850 + tax. Now I realize you have upgrades across the board, but this is just relative.

ALso, I'm not sure but I think that the 256MB 8600 GT is WEAKER than the 7900 GO GS. Check benchmarks. The 7900 is stronger in older games, similar in recent games, and maybe slightly slower in the newest of newest games.

Wow! All that for only $850? That's a deal man

Minus tax my new system was $1550.

My old system had the 7900 GTX 512MB, not the 7900GS, so the card in my 1550 will be slower. But I figured it was time for wireless N, Core 2 Duo, and a little lighter system.

Cheers

ive ordered the xps m1530 with the following specs

T9300 @2,5 6mb l2
3 gigabytes of ram
320 gigabyte HD
8600GT 256 mb
4 year on site warranty
6 cell battery
dvd-rw drive

i payd 1213 euro's or about 1800 dollars.
so the dutch dell is a bit expensive. if i would have bougt it in the us it would have cost me about 130 euros (200 dollars) less

Congrats again on your purchase. Question: Do you find the quality of the system to be pretty good? Build Quality / etc.

It's not going to be here for awhile: preliminary shipment date is April 23, and I did 5 day shipping, so it's gonna be 2 weeks at least. But I'll let you know if I get mine before you
