That looks like a pretty robust laptop cooler. When you get yours let me know how well it works for you. Anything to help keep our beasts cool is worth the money.

I got my laptop cooler from NZXT, its a tank all aluminum 3 120mm fans, its not light for sure, also it raises the back of ur laptop up about 2 inches, so its not as compact as other coolers, its looks like its holding the cpu temps about 3 degrees C more than the other cooler I had plus the MALX fits on it like its made for it. All in all I think it was worth the money

i might get one as well, sending it back now to Ireland once again with CPU overheating issues. Screen freezes when CPU heats up to over 105 degrees (celsius)

wow, that's too hot for your computer!

Yeap, just like 2-3 days ago the screen actually didnt turn on after it froze, so i had to put it off for 24 hours for it to start working again.

CPU shouldn't even get into the 90's...

The turion in my m9700 usually tops out in the mid 80's under full load.

I have had my mALX lappy since June-2007. Though I have had some video card issues, which have been fixed, I have never had problems due to over heating, and I play WoW for hours at a time. I do use a fan base underneath it, which seems to help allot even though it is small for it.

I love my mALX. It is a blast playing WoW and I lov e watching movies using my AW Ozomo head phones. I also have MS Office on my mALX and have no problems with speed, lag or anything whil haveing multiple programs open, including WoW in windowed mode.

I did get a two year warranty, and when I have had any issues, AW support has been quick and thorough, I am very happy with the lappy and the support

How or where (link) do you guys get software to show the temps of the CPU?

Speedfan 4.33 and try a nzxt laptop cooler a Malx fits on it perfectly and the 3 120mm fans move some air plus it raises the back up about2" so ur laptop is angled, also has usb port on back and a speed control, my cpu never registers above 50c.

Yeah, I've had my mALX since July of 2006, and while I have had to send it in, it was only because one of the video cards went bad on me. Besides that, its been a monster of a machine, and never given me a drop of trouble. The greatest part about owning one is the look on people's faces when you actually pull it out in public. Congrats on your new toy, Sylvadon, even if there are newer and faster ones they don't quite beat the look and feel of this one.
