I recently bought at 700m, mainly beacuse of the great screen it was supposed to have.

The screen I got is AUO0C01 and colors ar god but vewing angles ar really poor especially the vertica.

Does anyone else have this screen and the same problem?

It's a limitation of laptop LCD screens unfortunately, they do not have as good viewing angles as Desktop LCD's. Although they have been getting progressively better, and some are much better than others.

The 700m screens are not particularly great screens as far as viewing angles are concerned, from all of my experience. There is nothing much you can do about it, except face straight-on to the screen as much as possible.

Thanks for your reply.

Its a good laptop anyway and the screen is better than most of the laptops that came out that time. I'm probably just spoiled with my 9400 uwxga. It has much better viewing angles but slightly wors colors.

That's it. The 700m screen is great, as you have said, good colour reproduction and such, just suffered from limited viewing angles. Not much you can do to remedy that...
