XPS M1530 Latch

Hi,

I read that the XPS M1530 does not have a latch for the lid to keep it closed. For current users, has this ever presented a problem? It would seem that without a latch, the lid would never quite completely close.

I've had no issues with mine... the hinge is well designed. The screen stays where you put it.

i think the desiners at dell gave it enough attention. so i suppose it would work just fine

i thought it would be strange when i got mine and found that, but it really hasn't been a concern. the hinges are strong and hold it in place just fine
