WTT, dell 9300 17" for something smaller..

Looking for a newer Macbook ~2+ghz duo core and I'll pay differences or I will sell.

This is a dell i9300 with normal wear and tear. Inspiron on the lid completely wiped off, bottom stickers are all lifting off or missing, missing 2 rubber stoppers at the top inside of the LCD. LCD was replaced 6 months ago and the tech must have not put new ones on. CPU Idles & 48c-55c lately. Ran diagnosis with dell, nothing seems wrong. I believe it needs a good clean, but it runs great. I'm just used to 30-35c desktops.

Warranty still good until July, 2009, this includes everything, complete care.. Dell replaced the LCD screen and motherboard in my kitchen within 48 hrs of me calling, no questions asked.

Pentium M 2.0ghz
Fully licensed windows XP pro with SP2, and dell drivers disc. Will reformat.
17" widescreen with truelife
1gb ram
60gb 7200rpm hd
Dual layer dvd/cdrw
GeForce 6800go 256mb card
802.11 wifi card
6cell battery, hardly used (not much more than a months use)
1 power brick
dell carry case.

extras included:
9cell battery
extra power brick

Played Counterstrike Source on it for a while before getting a 360.

This laptop has been used for the last 3 yrs of my schooling, and hasn't given me any trouble minus the motherboard a while back. Very reliable laptop, but I'm at the point where lugging this thing around is a bit much. A nice backpack would be ideal, but I never bought one.

when I got it, price at the top:

Spent 2650 after the use of a coupon in July 2005. I would like to get 700shipped value for it. Trading would probably be better for both parties.

This laptop would be awesome with a 100gb 7200rpm, 7800~~ card, 2 1gb sticks, and some overclocking. I will be doing this shortly something new doesn't come by. PM me with any questions.

700 shipped anyone? Still under warranty, pictures on request, or soon as I can.

I have a D600.
Pentium-M 1.6 Dothan
1400 x 1050 resolution.
512MB ram.
Wifi.
DVD/CDRW
Windows XP Pro COA.
Battery holds a good charge and gets really good battery life.

Everything works great on it and I really enjoy the battery life I get. I am used to 90 minutes with my i9300, so this thing seems stellar. Good condition, no blemishes that I see.

Let me know.

ls3mach, thanks for the offer but I've decided to save and buy a macbook, whether if this sells or not.

Still will sell it and am open to offers. Buy at the price listed and I'll throw in an audigy2z5 card with the cable. and software.

Nah, I am not interested in buying. I just got my i9300 back from the shop. Between it (which stays at home), the D600 (which I like to travel with), and my compaq that I leave at work, I don't really need anymore notebooks. I just really like my i9300 and would love another.

Good luck with the sale.

Please don't take this as a thread crap....but that's a fairly big fiscal difference, going from an i9300 to an Intel based MBP. Unless you get the right person/time, I'd expect to shell out a goodly chunk of change to make it happen as a trade.

Sounds like thats exactly what it needs....an hour with a phillips screwdriver and a can or two of compressed air....

That's the best thing you've got going....15 months of CC warranty. If I wasn't on the verge of unloading my i9300, I'd consider buying yours just to get mine gussied up with new plastics/keyboard/etc...

Would you have any interest in a PowerBook G4? LMK if you'd be interested in specs, etc...I can PM the 411 to you. E-mail pics if you were interested too.

Good luck in your quest...

I know I will need to put out cash. Not concerned about the latest macbook, looking to get a used macbook in the 750-900.00 price range. With my student discount however, I can get a new lower end one for 999.99.. I would just buy an external dvd burner later on if I needed.

Dell is sending me a new 7200rpm 60gb hd due to some diagnosis scans giving errors. Should be here tomorrow or wednesday.

Same price, will ship within 48 hrs of payment along with the new HDD and cds. Windows XP sp2, extra charger and battery. If I can get roughly 700 for everything, I'll be happy. 720 shipped not paypal and I'll throw in an audigy sound card. Not sure of the safest way? Ebay and paypal verified for 7 yrs, references too. Will gladly take paypal though if it's easier.

Would like to sell this before I get the hard drive so I can ship it before having to re-format.
