So this fan is annoying me.
I don't want to just set it to full with the fn 1 thing as that is more annoying. But I would like to set it so it doesn't go to 100% then back to about 50% within a second. It seems pointless and annoying. Is there a way to stop this.
Also when the computer is sitting there on idle in power saving mod it does this same fan thing every 5 or so mins. This makes even less sense. Surely if it just ran its fan at say 10% continually it would keep cool and save more power then having to speed the fan up to 100% for only a second and then slow it down to 50% for a few seconds then turn off. It takes a lot of power to accelerate things and not so much to just keep them turning slowly.
It would also allow me to sleep with it in the same room.
