|Another stealthy releases from Nvidia sees the Santa Clara-based company update its professional graphics offer with a new, dual-GPU card. The Quadro FX 4700 X2 is deemed as the ultimate CAD, DCC, and visualization solution and it uses a dual-PCB design that looks a bit like that of the GeForce 7950GX2.
Requiring extra power through two 8-pin PCI power connectors, the FX 4700 X2 features on-board SLI, has a 256-bit memory interface and has 2GB of memory. The card has DirectX 10 support, a maximum power consumption of 226W and is likely equipped with two G92 chips. Fortunately for out mental health, the price of the Quadro FX 4700 X2 has not been revealed.
