Has it just started doing this or has it never worked?

Changing vid drivers could solve your problem
post #3 of 15
Its usually either a replaced wireless card or the graphics drivers.
Yea you could try diabeling all services and such with wireless and see how it goes.

Try a search for your issue, BF2 issues are prevalent here, so you should be able to find something.

i have never have this this BSOD before, it started some days ago...

i have use the same gpu driver all time (84.69) maybe i can try to reinstall the driver.

can it be the ram memory ????

blah that shitty 84.69 (gave me bsod) can rot in driver hell. get rid of it, try say 169.04.

this is very very strange. i have use 84.69 over one year and have never get this BSOD. i played BF2 now i got same failur, BUT i played Medal of honor and didnt get any failur. how is that possible.

i only get in BF2 !!!!!!!
(i have played BF2 many years and never get this failur before)

it seems that i only get in BF2 !!!

Well 84.69 was nothing but a headache for me, Im glad you were able to use it with no problems. If you switch to another driver and the BSOD's continue I would say it largely comes down to a bad RAM or GPU.

btw list your wireless card

ok. but why dosent i get it ib CSS, hL2, etc, etc ????

Drivers work in a magical way. Ive seen quite a few BF2 problems here which is why i highly suggest the search option. You may even find your exact problem and its solution.

It could just be the game who knows.

Does it BSOD just idling in windows?

This used to happen to me only when I played COD4...I changed video driver and opened up my laptop and cleaned the heatsink/fans and it stopped. I think it was more heat related than driver.

I just installed rFactor, and now it is happening all the time with that...so very annoying...
