Nvidia Working on Fixing nForce 790i Data Corruption Bugs

It looks like the 'best nForce chipset ever' 790i is having a few problems. They're so good, in fact, that other system hardware can't quite keep up when overclocking to extreme levels.

As with its predecessor(s), the nForce 790i chipset is so good at overclocking that hard drives can't keep up. Sarcasm aside, the latest Intel-prone chipset from Nvidia is plagued by data corruption issues at certain FSB and memory settings that are higher than 'standard.'

Nvidia has acknowledged the problems, which were reported by come unlucky users and it has its engineers working on it. Not the best selling point for the most expensive chipset around but hopefully a BIOS update to fix the problems will be out soon.
Ole' Buckaroo did a little research of his own. Several of the enthusiasts in the Extreme Overclocking category are reporting data corruption problems. So far, the only solution is to decrease overall system overclocks...a solution that, naturally, doesn't sit well with overclockers.

Well if they're working on a fix thats fine with me. Since I'm probably in the market for 790i, i will be keeping a close eye on this.
