I just ordered a MacBook Pro!!

I was looking for a little laptop for a cheap price about $1200...Then I decided to get something a bit better since i got some extra cash from my dad...I fell in love with the MacBook Pro but it seemed well to expensive...But they have a nice rebate on amazon.com and i got mine for $1685 shipped after rebate!!

* 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 4 MB shared L2 cache, Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard
* 2 GB RAM (two SO-DIMM) 677 MHz DDR2 SD-RAM (PC2-5300), 160 GB 5400 rpm Serial ATA hard drive, slot load 8x Super Drive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)

Now I have to wait to get it

I wonder how my dad will react when he sees his Credit card statement

I got it off amazon.com for $1835 + $150 rebate thing with it

It was shipped today, but I won't get it till May 11th cuz my friend will bring in down here from USA. I can't wait

Nice deal. I love mine and I am sure you will enjoy yours. Not to mention games through bootcamp work really well. I just got Team Fortress 2 and it plays really well. Have fun!

Ports: 2USB Vs 4USB / both have express card / both have firewire / DVI Vs HDMI / NO eSATA Vs eSATA
Video: NV 8600GT Ram? Vs NV 9600GS 1024MB Video ram (the asus simply blows the MBP out of the water for this one)
Resolution: shitty 1440 x 900 Vs 1680x1050

price? the Asus is $1549

oh BTW they all have wireless everything (ABGN wifi and bluetooth 2.0, infact most laptops have this anyways)
both have GB lan

the macbook pro DOES NOT HAVE 8in1 card reader nor does it have a 1.3MP swiveling webcam with face recognition
