Please help... Mouse is twitching all over the screen

I have a 1.5 year old Z96J and today when I fired up my comp the mouse started twitching all over the screen. I reinstalled all the drivers, removed all the synaptics files and reinstalled them too but no luck. Disabling the touchpad doesn't work either. I have a logitech VX Nano plugged in and it does the same thing. I am at my wits end. Please help.

Yo my name is Kirk too ... are the mouses you are using optical? Because sometimes when optical mouses are on a certain surface they screw up, also try a different USB drive if you haven't. Make sure there is no static around either, it happens at my work all the time because the carpets produce heaps of static.

They say that this is either a mobo problem or a bad touchpad. Probably the mobo, though. If it's under warranty, send it in right away! Have you called Asus about it? It's not a firmware issue, as it would have happened from day 1 (assuming you bought it new).
