I got my EX7 back today...No note or anything saying what they did...but I called Sok and he told me that they replaced the heat sinks on both the CPU and the GPU.......my temps are are now running below 72c while playing games and my CPU speeds remain near 3.80 gigs.....may drop to 3.78 but thats normal for one to do that...anyway MOHAB does not miss a beat now and thats with the in game settings all the way turned up.....This EX7 is finaly working like a gaming laptop...I am very satisfied with its performamce....they didnt even have to reformat..all my programs were still in tack when I got it back.......I will keep ya posted on the performance....I will have to go out and buy a new game now...I want crysis...but I am waiting for the price to come down...I mplayed the demo and its a decent game but not worth the full price they are asking..its down to 49 bucks...I will wait till it hits 39 bucks.

Ocz has done me well in getting this thing to run right and agin so far I am very happy with it...

No I have it installed on My desktop and my computer at work and its a Compaq...I also install it it on the desktops I build for others........Its not a Hypersonic file...they just have it on their doenload site..its a great program

Well its day 2 since I git it back and this thing really smokes...it plays my games better than my desktop....which is what I expected seeing how my desktop has a 3.6 cpu and the 7800GT video card.......I have retired my desktop from game playing and only use it fir basic things........OCZ has re-gained my respect for Hypersonic and Sok is great.....I think OCZ buying Hypersonic was the best thing to happen to Hypersonic and the customers......I realy think Hypersonic would have crashed and burned had they not sold out to OCZ.......i WILL BUY My next laptop from OCZ/ Hypersonic...which wil be in about a year to 18 months.......It feels so good to finaly play my World War 2 games on this EX7...my temps while playing games are lower than the temps at idle prior to the fix...and it game temps are under 70c while the CPU stays nice and steady @ 3.80-3.79.......agian thanks Pat for all your help and tell Sok he is the man...and I have updated my review on resellers.....also even when I run on battery the CPU is @ 3.80......before it would start out at 2.5 or lower when on battery........they did an awesome job..more than I expected.......I will recomend Hypersonic/ OCZ to people who are looking for a good laptop...I can now do that honestly ........I have been running this for the last 4 hours straight with 2 of them gamming and my temps are at 45c.....since I bought this the temps were never lower than 68c........I feel like a kid with a new toy now...and that feels great.

that was great thing ...OCZ buying hypersonic.....Well the CPU speed does drop while on battery after the battery get down to 75%...I guess thats because its trying to conserve the battery....we all know the EX7 eats the juice up on battery.......I dont use it without being plugged into ac anyway....for me the battery is just a back-up in case of pwr failure..thing is a little heavy to use as a laptop you put on your lap.......I am considering buying a smaller laptop for traveling.......wer are talking about getting AT&T wireless for a laptop that way when we go out wew can still acess a computer for maps or when we take long trips who ever aint driving can surf the net to pass time...both my EX7 and the wifes Qosmio is just to big and heavy to do this ......thinking about getting a laptop you can use on your lap...lol.......Looking at the smaller ones at Hypersonic now....but we dont want to spend a lot on this one seeing how in will only be used in the Durrango........no super CPU or video card needed ...just the basics...will still take the Hypersonic EX7 with me to use in the hotel room to play games.......

yea battery is just a backup pwr supply in case of power failure...I never expected the battery life to last.......I have been using my EX7 more than my desktop since I got it back and its a smoking machine...my temps have not been out of the 60c-low70c's range and that while gaming...just internet and doing other things like pics...burning CD/ DVD's..my temps usualy are in the 50c range and when Idle they are in the low 40c range....so yes I am very satisfried with Hypersonic support since OCZ took over the helm of the ship...and I am finaly enjoying my EX7.......I do plan on buying another Hypersonic in 12 months or so......mnay even try a desktop if the price aint much highier than building it myself......and if I dont have to much free time between my full time job and my computer side business......first have to wait an see what happens in the next election and the economy...I have more and more people asking me to upgrade their desktops now because of the economy because they cant afford to buy new ones..


Now off topic.......I sure hope all yall will vote democrate in november...I dont care if its Hillary or Obama.....Mcain will only continue what we have had for the last 8 years..I am sure no one wants thst......I dont like Hillary or Obama....but I will vote for which ever one wins the democrate ticket......many say they may go independant...I did that 2004 and I realize its a wasted vote or a vote for the republicans.......so unless you like paying a $100 bucks to fill your tank of gas or can afford to buy one of those new hybreds and are sure you arent going to loose your job in the next few months to few years...go ahead and vote republican.....And I am sure that war monger Mcain will have us in another world war befor 2012......
