256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8600M GT
Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy HD Software Edition

well, it is actually possible.....
2 approaches.....
1- a capture card (problem is there is upto 3-4 seconds of lag with these, and even with the best most expensive version there is still too much lag to make any game playable)
2-Crack open your new laptop(void warranty) and add another video controller on a toggle switch that accepts input from your 360. (Problem is you cant do it, Ben Heck can, he might even make this Frankenstein look not so bad, but you wont be able to do it)

That said, yeah what steve said, it cant be done.

A good alternative is to get (any) say a Dell 22" or 24" LCD that has dual inputs and hook one to laptop, the other to 360.

Interesting link.....
I was skeptical reading the youtube comments so I looked into it further....

I stand somewhat corrected.....
The "GameBridge" IS a solution fitting squarely in category 1 of my earlier post.
Had not heard of it, it apparently has been designed/targeted to reduce lag for gamers.

That said, its not high def (where my earlier suggestion is)
Also, there is still lag, the fact that this has been produced/marleted and even reviewed as lag free Im totally skeptical
Lots of games will play fine, maybe even som FPS's, but Im willing to bet it breaks any Fighting Game

So yeah sorta corrected....sorta

So what is the final answer to my question......possible???.....not possible??

Back when I had my 9300, I had a PCMCIA tuner card that I used with a slim PS2 via a S-video connection. The quality wasn't great but it worked and had no lag. I was using it to play The Show 07 and you know in a baseball game lag would have been noticeable. It wasn't.

I saw an ExpressCard tuner somewhere that tweaked my interest and was wondering if it would work. I waited for reviews and after a while someone posted that there was a 2 second lag. I gave up after that and bought a cheap 19" dell monitor with the optional soundbar. It fits in my 17" notebook bag with my 360 and is HD so

you need to look for a TV tuner that does not timeshift. the 2 second lag is caused by the timeshifting (to allow you to pause and resume, etc). if it does not timeshift then it will push it directly to the screen, and you will not have a problem gaming

i used to do it all the time, before I got an LCD monitor that supported the inputs directly
