I have an almost 2 yr old S96J built by gentech. Last week it BSOD'd with a mesage about dumping the memory (i cant remember the whole thing.) Now it won't boot. I get a black "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" screen when I turn it on.
I've tried going into the BIOS, but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. It does say "Primary IDE Master : [Not Detected]". Does that mean the hard drive? (everything in that sub-screen is set to Auto)
I have data on the HD that I haven't backed up, so I really want to salvage it if I can. Any suggestions on what to do next would be appreciated.
Here's some specs in case it helps:
