Does anyone still use Notebook Hardware Control? I see it hasn't been updated recently and was curious if there is a better program to help make my 1710 run better.

What about setting the HDD performance cause I notice some blips when playing games.

but I've never actually gotten nhc to function usefully.

So, what HDD performance settings are you talking about?
I know there's a setting in the bios for acoustic/bypass/performance or whatever..
