Bluetooth pairing - How?

I have a 9880 with the combo wifi/bluetooth card. The bluetooth is listed in the device manager and appears to be working correctly, but I can't figure out how to pair a device with it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

a lot of the times when you handshake with a device, there is a device code you need to type in.. for example, if youre handshaking a headset with a cell phone, the code is usually 0000. Is there software on your notebook that has something like this?

That's the problem. I can't find a place on the notebook that even mentions pairing. I expected to find a place where I could tell the notebook to search for devices, but so far, that feature has eluded me.

Is this software that should have been installed on the notebook when I got it?

I installed the software and now I have a My Bluetooth Places. When I open it, I keep getting a message stating that a script error has occurred and asking me if I want to continue running scripts. I always click on yes.

Should I be able to pair my Bluetooth headset using this software? It never finds the headset when I tell it to search for new devices.

Yes it is.

And it should work with your notebook.
