Updated Drivers

I see that nVidia has updated drivers for the 7800, 7900, 7950 laptop cards but they dont work with Hypersonic......they work with Dell, Alienware, Sager and a few more......I remember that the Drivers released on July 5th, 2005 had this same problem and Hypersonic I guess got with nVidia and resolved the problem so that Hypersonic laptops could also be included in the July 2005 Drivers....OCZ/Hypersonic needs to do this again plus list the driver on Hypersonic Driver support page...I posted this on the new Hypersonic board also in answer to a question about those drivers from another member.

Its been 3 years since any 7000 series nVidia cards had any updated drivers.....I was getting disapointed with nVidia...they usualy post new drivers at least every 3 months not 3 years........

Last night I tried a few of the drivers and I a sorry to say I experienced performance lost..followed the install directions to the T.......so far the drivers offerred by hypersonic are the best for my machine...reinstalled those drivers and my performance playing MOHAB returned....I will just wait for Hypersonic or nVidia to release some new drivers...I tried the tweaked driver install and the regular install.......oh well I tried em

grab the drivers from laptopvideo2go.com. Whatever the latest is with the most reviews usually works like a charm. Why anyone would grab the drivers the mfr. supplies, i'll never know. Be sure to clean out the old ones first using driver cleaner or something similar.

I have never had any problems with the card makersvor computer builders drivers, for the most part I have had more problems from 3rd party drivers.
There are 2 great tweaking programs available that unlock many features and one is from the chip maker.......so I stick with either the chip maker of computer builders drivers......I get supurb performance from them...wither I tweak them or not...but thanks anyway

Yo PAt can you chime in here please man. I jsut reinstalled the cx-7 with the Go 7800 GTX, I go to install the 165.51 drivers from Nvidia, and i get an error stating "The Nvidia Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit." Whats the solution besides beta drivers I really don't like working with?

Also for some reason when I try to check for drivers on the Hypersonic site,I go to login with my info I usually used when I bought the machine and I don't exist as ever purchasing anything from Hypersonic.

I will check for updated drivers for you to see what we can get.

Since our new website went up, we did away with the username password so that you can download your drivers directly.

If possible, PM your order number so that I can have a support rep contact you with regards to the drivers.

Can't PM the order #, don't have the info with me. Honestly not sure where I put that stuff. I might have a copy in my PM box I'll chk there in a bit. As for the driver, its really annoying having a machine that is still capable on the market today and not be able to play cause HS isn't a supported vendor for updates to this card.
Please do what ya can, there's gotta be a solution.
