memory card reader problem

hy ewerybody,

with somebody heappened that tha sd card reader read from the card but dont write? my note book is 2wekks old, befor vista sp1 it worked, after dont, i have uninstalled sp1, and i cant write the sd card...
any soluton?

. can u access the card from another machine or from an external reader?
. could it be that it is being set up as readyboost?

Hy thx for the answer, but it isnt a ready boost disk, and it is an internal card reader, i tired to use with another sd card but the same, i can read from that but dont write

sd card can be used as readyboost device just the same. when u open the card in explorer, what is the content?

thx for the answer, in the explorer is a normal sd card reader, i tried this update but it writes me that is for my os not gulty

on the sd card ara different files, .jpg .avi .doc it is in my pda

os language is german an i'm hungaryan so i translate twice

i see. this is a known issue for vista when dealing with OEM and patches. You can try:
. install SP1 or
. re.install from scratch and reactivate Vista

THx for all replies,
i have installed sp1 again, so i can write for some sd-cards, but for my 2gb not, it is readonly again, but in external cardreader i can use is, i think i wait for some windows updates....
