It's the best thing to do, yes, to avoid any possible problems.

The steps are pretty straightforward, and not that difficult to do, and you'd definitely be saving yourself possible headaches by following the directions.

What part(s) specifically are you not comfortable with?

if you dont feel comfortable doing a clean installation of drivers, then you're probably going to experience problems with files and registry values that don't get properly replaced/deleted, especially if the new drivers don't use those values so they just stick around.

well i wasnt comfortable of uninstalling of the video driver but if you say its still good then i shouldnt have to worry right

you should certainly have a backup of your most up to date video drivers available to you from their website or on a disc given to you upon purchase.

if you do not, i dont reccomend deleting your drivers.

He means video driver, not the card itself. You should at least be able to download it from the manufacturer's website.

You should be able to go to Toshiba's website, look up drivers for your laptop, and get video drivers from them as a backup.
