Help with 4080

Sorry I have posted this in Tech Support but no reply. Please help me.

Ok I have several 4080, Clevo D410V questions. I hope someone can help me with.

First the Fn, Ctl swap firmware Adam posted didn't work on my machine. Anyone has newer firmware.

Second, from what I have read in this forum I won't be able to find a Wlan G mini usb card. Is that right? Which PCMCIA card would you suggest for WLAN A B G

Also, where can I get the optional bluetooth module? Anyone has it please post some pictures.

Finally, how can I set my AGP speed to 8x? I only see AGP 4x why I go to display property. I think this lowered my 3d2001se's score to 9754. I am using Omega's newest driver.

Please Help

My config. 4080, 3Ghz, 1gb ram, 60gb 7200rpm.

You'd have to do some searching for that, I don't believe it is available for the 4080.

I don't know about the miniusb card, I'd rather you use a PCMCIA card, I've had better experience with them. Here, this took me about 10 seconds to find:

You mean the internal bluetooth? or the USB bluetooth. USB Bluetooths are real easy, and you can get them real cheap. Here's one that you can get for $26.99 shipped:

Does your motherboard even support 8X? It probably doesn't. Maybe update the bios, but I doubt it does support 8X

I dont know about the Keyboard firmware, i have no idea why anyone would want their keyboard backwards like a dell ;P. For the wireless, the internal "b" cards suck, and i know of no miniUSB multi band, but there are some good and/or cheap PCMCIA ones. i think PCT will sell you the internal bluetooth (miniUSB) seperately, but i dont remember, im pretty sure its (like the wifi) manufactured by Clevo, so you cant easily get it elsewhere. For the AGP, its a setting in the bios (f1 at startup or whatever, theres an option) although on my machine i get the best performance from 4x with a 64mb apeture, i guess you oversaturate the pipeline at 8x.

thank you for the help
Which version bios do you have? I cannot find the setting in my bios. The only setting I can adjust is my aperture.
or is there a secret menu that I need to open.

Go into the BIOS, as PAPPP said, and change it to 8x. You should really read out replys to your cries of help. It may teach you stuff you want to know.

I did read the REPLY
you should read mine carefully as well
I asked which version bios PAPPP has because I CANNOT FIND IT IN MY BIOS

Well, no need to get all capital letter on me. Go thru the bios as much as you can, if you cant find it, then its not there. Try updating the bios? If its the latest one, then I guess you can't do anything about it. Unless, you wanted to downgrade bios's to control it, but I'm sure you wouldn't want to do that.
