Oh man...512MB graphic cards are coming. Why do we need so much memory? Ideally in the future all textures should be produced by pixel shaders for the best visual aesthetics. As the cards become more and more powerful, we really should see less need for frame buffer...

Where is this card at? Been seeing some info on the 6800's but not a single benchmark for the ATI cards. =(

Won't be released until the 4th of May, I believe.

Oh, yeah, I think you also need a PCIe board to stuff it into.

If my memory serves me correctly, the R420 based cards are AGP cards and the R423 based cards are PCIe cards.
