Default clock speeds (2D 100/240 & 3D 295/570); default driver & benchmark settings, driver version Dell 53.82, video BIOS A01, all apps running in background/systray, power settings 'portable/laptop'.

3DMark2001SE - 10,881
3DMark2003 - 2,792
Aquamark3 -17,440
Comanche4 51.56
Shading_C4D 249
C2003rendering 225
SHD_OGL_SW 1101
SHD_OGL_HW 2190

funny why you would leave your pwer settings on portable/laptop when running a benchmark. the score for Aquamark is significantly lower than what i get (21000) with my M10P. Everything else seems to be at par with an M10P, but 3dmark2001 results are pretty good!

And i just noticed! 2GB RAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! What line of work are you in?

Very nice! Yeah the MR9600PT will still take the crown in D3D and DX9 gaming I believe, but in OpenGL and DX8.1 watch out for that FX1000!

Yup, that's why I have both cards handy

I hear that the 3DMark2003 scores are ~3000 with the FX1000 + the 56.xx drivers, will try them out...and will also post results on Aquamark3 with them.

Tried the 56.63 & 56.72 drivers, including those with Starstorm tweaks...best results with nVidia English WHQL 56.72 + Pieter's INF 20.32 as follows -

3DMark2001SE - 10,676
3DMark2003 - 2,993
Aquamark3 - 19,489

No problems with standby/resume/lid close/flicker etc.
Run at default clocks, default driver & benchmark settings; power settings at 'portable/laptop' + all the usual antivirus, etc. running in the systray just like real world use.
By the way, on eight Cinebench2003 loops + other benchmarks, the GPU hardly broke a sweat - temperature never got above 80c.
Just for kicks I tried the 'auto detect' & it gave me 450m/1000c clock speeds, but i decided not to try the O/C settings...

Pieter, any chance of adding the OpenGL application customized settings like the list available with Dell 53.82 (R73878.exe)?

Now if I can figure out the safe O/C speeds I could REALLY have some fun...like other Quadro cards, this seems to be way underclocked for the sake of heat/stability...I remember reading the nv36 Go chipset was capable of 350/300 + 450/300, as well as 350/600 + 450/600..anyone verify that?

Alrighty, I set the clock frequencies at "Auto- nVidia software determines ideal speeds" - works out to a very conservative 140/570 (2D) + 295/570 (3D) -

3DMark2001SE - 11,481 (single run)
3DMark2003 - 3,186 (average of 3 runs)
Aquamark3 - 21,885 (single run)

Once again with the excellent WHQL 56.72 + Pieter's INF 20.32 combo.

No increase in temparatures, and a couple minutes later with fans on low, GPU temperature is back at 53c.

I'm not going to overclock manually, satisfied with the performance so far.

I rest my case

{edit} just realized the auto clock speeds are still 295/570...that means the default Dell clocks must be 295/300...

Stock setup driver version 53.81 ?
A04 Bios
Quadro FX Go1000 Flash A01

I was "playing" around with my friends M60
and here are the following results with 3dmark03

test 1 295/570 = 2652
test 2 320/600 = 2869
test 3 400/700 = 1867 ?!?!?!?
test 4 295/570 = 2694

any suggestions on how to play with these numbers?

test 3 ->
the loading of the tests noticeably takes longer
artifacts? tempoarily appearing during the loading of the tests
no artifacts visible during demo
except for the troll's lair (test 3) second time around, the cave scene
had pyshadelic walls

Ofelas : have u noticed the odd glitch every now and then?
i've probaby seen it 3 times since i've had mine...
applied the flash, so yeah.. now waiting to see if it still happens...

Also.. how did u set this "Auto - nvidia software determines...." <---??
or is that in the later version?

I got the high numbers with 56.72 + Pieter's INF # 20.32 + auto-clock settings available in that driver version.

No glitches/artifacts in any of the benchmarks with all driver versions posted above...

The initial numbers were with Dell 53.82 which I'm using again ONLY because I need application certification + WHQL for a few weeks...
