P-6831FX Northbridge Heating Pad- HELP!

Does anyone know where/how to get a replacement heating pad for the northbridge processor?

------------------Back Story-----------------
Like many others I have been upgrading the bejeezus out of my Gateway FX laptop. However, when I went to replace the cpu, I noticed that the pad on the northbridge was in pretty poor shape. I adjusted it as well as I could then closed the machine back up. After many weeks of problem free use, I figured I was good to go.

Lately however, usually following an intensive gaming session with Warcraft, I have been getting the dreaded blue screen of death. The system is recording it as an issue with the video card, and usually the heatsink/vent is hot as all get out.

I am curious, is this a ventilation problem with the video card, is it possibly the non-optimally padded northbride processor(Supposedly it handles the video card synchronization), or maybe its just all the stupid addons I have installed for raiding in Wow. I would appreciate any opinions/suggestions.

Getting these pads can be a challange, not many places stock them,

I managed to find some on Ebay.

The ones I tracked down were made by 3M.

I have gotten two blue screens and both were after long gaming sessions. I don't think it is a northbridge issue. I am not sure what it is, but it actually looked like a driver issue. In both cases, it was as soon as I exited the game, it didn't happen during play.

Hey dave-p, do you happen to know the size/thickness/etc so I could try and track em down myself. I would really appreciate the help.
