I played through the campaign on normal by myself but would never want to do the same on either Hardcore or Insane difficulty. Also there is the new fangled Horde mode that I really cannot get enough of. I usually end up playing for a while with other people on execution or submission and always find myself playing at least 1 round of horde.

Great times to be had and I really think Epic has done a decent update to GoW1 with GoW2. However there is still a noticeable host advantage in terms of shotgun when playing against people from other continents i.e. US vs GB.

Hmmm, well I wasnt really too interested in GoW1 online. I did play before people knew they could melee with grenades (funny shyt when some 14 yr old screams I'm cheating but then asks me how I'm doing it) but after a little while multi just pissed me off, one life, freaking always sticking to cover when I want to run away. Just general BS that made multi less and less fun. I want to run out and start killing not dick around trying to vault a support or accidently sticking to cover. Just seemed GoW1's multi was a tad slow, always open when you do vault cover, if you dont immediately get the good weaps your toast, just general BS. Hope GoW2 is better.

Got it for xmas, I like it alot. Longer than GoW1, other weaps, vehicles, general playability is better. Online takes FOREVER to match up, story is good except with Dom, really thin to begin with and my heart dosent ache because of his situation. Now if Marcus was looking for his son (say either young COG soldier trapped/prisoner or maybe a stranded running from grubs) I think it would of got the emotion reaction they are looking for with Dom.

Horde mode is pretty dam fun (if you can get guys to stay) got to lvl 37 last night with 2 other guys, then the dam Kantus poison naded us and boomer's blew us the F@@k up.

Good shyt right there. They do need to fix the match making, cause after a match you loose your whole party.
