I bought this from parts people in feb 2008, and never ever used it. Still sitting in the box! It is in perfect unscratched condition. They charged me $49.95 and they're out of stock, I charge you $35 and I have one in stock

This should be a direct bolt on to an M170 as well, shouldn't it??

It could be...the personalization shield from the XPS2 fits the M1710 lid just fine so that gives a little credibility to the actual lids being interchangeable as well.

Yes it fits perfectly onto an E1705, the LED's won't have anywhere to plug into without a very simple mod to a 5v (I think)
