No problems with Vista myself.

Yeah, Ive been on and off Vista since 2 years b4 it was RTM, I was really excited, the RTM came and I was super underwhelmed, 1 year later I took the plunge and have been running Ultimate on a laptop thats on 24/7 and have had no issues. Of course, Im pretty experienced in such matters and tend to avoid alot of situations that get most users into trouble. Other than it being very slow at times, IMO VISTA is great.

Same here. Vista has been running smoothly on my m15x for about a week now. No problems. Direct X10 on Crysis looks pretty nice. But, you have to really pay attention to the details to notice it.

Without an 8800 GTX, there's almost no point in the m15x, unless you really like the design. Lots of laptops at 15.4" have an 8700.

Honestly, if I didn't need an 8800m GTX, I'd get a mac book pro and bootcamp into windows xp.
Too bad you're voiding your warranty if you upgrade the CPU yourself.

You can have a AW certified tech do it if you're scared of voiding your warranty.

CPU swaps are really simple... barely more difficult than a RAM swap.

Now a GPU swap takes some time in a laptop.

Just look at the water... the difference between DX10 and DX9 is very noticeable there

Know it's simple, I did it on my other laptop before.
But if they find out that you changed it, it might void your warranty, because they have had many people attempt to change it and messing up their computers.

I want to, but I'm just afraid of scammers.

Ah man selling is so much easier than buying to avoid scams.
Paypal payment up front!!! Video, pictures, phone and email log product, shipping and communication with the buyer thoroughly!!!

Ship once paypal has verified payment, if they are a scammer and file against paypal as (not received product) which about all they can do afaik, your thorough documentation will win the day. Also give a payment deadline in the listing that if you cant verify funds on paypal within a certain amount of time you have the right to offer to next highest bidder or re-list.

Again, thorough documentation, wait till the money is in the bank, and u cant lose. Much easier than buying, where the same steps work, but a paypal dispute can have your money tied up for a few weeks.

Hmmm...
Anyone who has sold something on ebay for over $1000, can you PM me an email you can help me out?
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure a couple of guys here now a thing or two. Just make sure not to ship to anyone outside the U.S.

Moidock can help you out, he's helped me a lot in the past.

You can also ask for a bank check(I think that is wat its called), this would mean you only ship your product once you have received that check, at least thats wat im going to do
