XPS going bye bye question?

Hey everyon, I have had my Gen 2 for a longgg time now and its great I just extended my complete care and my warranty for 3 more years. I was wondering if anything ever happened to my laptop *knocks on wood* what would they send me as a replacement? I know they usually send equal or better but if XPS is gone do they send alienware? This is worrying me. Thanks

The XPS lineup isn't going anywhere, so you'll get an XPS in its place.

Hey, i also have a gen-2.

I had 1 year warranty, and originally a 6800 ultra. Could I technically still buy complete care, and what would happen if my laptop simply died one day... or I don't know what happens to laptops?

You can only extend warranties. If you buy the laptop without the warranty, you can't add it on later.

So if you didn't get complete care when you bought your laptop, you can't get it now. You can only extend you warranty, if you still have a warranty.

What do ya reckon about this diagnostics file, with all the new models on it........except for M1740 and M1540........there is a M1640 and M1340 though......nah....must be a mistake.

M6400 is a bright point though.....maybe.

For the LAST TIME, The XPS line is not being discontinued. Dell plans to keep the XPS Line around and even keep the high performance systems around.
