Buying the best gaming laptop

I am about to purchase a new laptop. I want a 17" screen and I want the best laptop out there. I'm selling a couple laptops on ebay right now and will use that cash, plus some other money I have to get it. I'll get about 2000.00 for my 17" Macbook Pro and about 550.00 for my Dell Inspiron 6400. So that's about 2550.00 plus about 2500 to 3000 I can use of my savings for a total of about 5050 to 5550. I have had some great advice from forum members in the past and look forward to hearing your input.

Oh and I have looked at Alienware, VoodooPC, FalconNW and they seem to me to be overpriced for what you actually get. But I am open to all suggestions.

Looking for a true desktop replacement. I want it to be able to handle whatever I throw at it. I would like to play games like Crysis (yeah yeah I know its a hog), bio, WOW, warhammer online (beta test), CS, Guildwars, RTS like C&C, etc.
