2 Samsung laptops..

Hi,
I need some advice on 2 Samsung latops, one of which i have ordered, (but can still cancel).

This is the one i have ordered.

The other Samsung one is this one:

The main difference is that the one i've ordered is T5550 1.83GHz, 3GB RAM and a bigger HD. It also uses the Intel GMA X3100 graphics card.

The other Samsung one is a T5450 1.66GHz, 2GB RAM, but has Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS 128MB.

I dont really need to use the laptop for much gaming, (only light).
Main purpose for laptop is internet, dvd's, music, office, etc..

I;ve been told that i should go for the Samsung laptop which has the Nvidia graphics card, (and also has the slower processor, less ram and smaller HD).

Can i have some more opinions on this please?
Will the T5550 struggle with the X3100 graphics card?

Also, i;ve been given a third option, which is the Dell Vostro 1700. Here is the link. Very good specs, good price, (includes nVidia graphics), but really ugly design/case.

Not sure which one to go for....help please!!
Thanks

better video card= less strain on proc and onboard to show good dvd play back

however, lower end proc= more strain to keep the dvd playing on a smooth lvl

both of those samsungs look like Clevo made laptops, from the design

youre in England? i think? so your choices maybe slim on what all you can buy

those are some 17 inch widescreen models, search around google and see if you can find a reseller in your area, if they are near your price, id get any one of those over a Dell/Samsung rebrand any day

I dont think the processor would make any impact on your dvd playback quality since they are dual core processors but i dont have any solid evidence, also it will be wise to get a dedicated video card.

it will if its onboard video, audio isnt much of a factor any more with onboard or not, but video still is, it will use up resources otherwise not used when theres a stand alone video card

Never thought about onboard, but ya thats true but i still think that the movie wont lag, since when someone is watching a movie the computer wont be doing anything else...
