fan makes loud noise

Hi all

I have a t60. the fan on the motherboard makes a loud noise when it is working. I used dust-off to blow off all the dust but it still makes a really loud noise. i know it is not touching anything, because when i use dust-off blow the the dust off the fan and the fan runs very quietly. does anyone know an easy fix for this?

sounded like big clogs of dust still in there, keep blowing it, and vacuuming it by the vents. Short from taking apart and visually checking it, gonna be hard to say

so, i just ordered a heatsink with fan in there. Does anyone know where i can find a walk through for replacing t60 heatsinks?

i had a problem with my T43 and the fan being loud/pulsating all the time.

there was a program out there that let you control the fan speed and at what temperatures the fan would turn on at. Have you looked into that functionality?
