usb printer

I'd like to hook up a usb HP printer to 2 computers. Is their a USB hub or A/B type switch available, or do I have to network them and have both on to use the printer.

I had been using a parallel port printer with an A/B switch which worked well, as I could turn one computer on and print with it. I would prefer not to enable file sharing printer and use it thru network as I would always have to leave the host computer on.

Any ideas?

I use a print server from Hawking . This is what I have. Works very well with my 2 usb printers - Epson 777 and Canon i850.

dganthony thanks for the suggestion. I went to compusa, they have a usb 4-port switch that will hook up to 4 computers to a usb peripheral and allows you to switch to one of them as the active computer for the printer / peripheral. This should do the trick it's basically an a/b switch for usb products.
