Keyboard "a" key not working

What are my steps to diagnosing this problem? It seems to work if i press just right, other times not at all. Im writing this using ctrl V, needless to say very annoying. The computer is less than a year old. The a key get a lot of use(gamer) but so do other keys equally.

I was thinking of popping off the key just to see if anything is stuck under it. But not sure about this, or if its a good idea on this model.

I popped off the key as well as another key to compare, there was nothing stopping the buttons range of motion. So it seems to be something electronic. I will be calling dell shortly
