DEFAULT in OS windows XP but Toshiba cut it

Thread Starter
Microsoft Support yesterday helped me on a chat on how to solve a problem on my safe mode boot, that I can't access. Then they tried to work on the recovery console in my note book Toshiba Sattelite M105 s3004, but it was impossible to find in the install CD Toshiba Windows this option that is DEFAULT in OS windows XP.
So, I made a research in Toshiba site and there is an information error in that site, but Toshiba does not have chat or e-mail support like all the other CIAs. Bad so Bad. If you need to ask them a simple question about Toshiba error in the site, you have to make a phone call and pay for it, in order to have support only for this. Are they crazy?.
Take a look below and help me, please:
Look at http://askiris.toshiba.com/ToshibaSu...200%2038214231
Toshiba site says: Issue:
How to rebuild a corrupted or missing Windows XP BOOT.INI file.
The Toshiba says: start the Recovery Console with the Windows XP CD-ROM, and then click Recovery ( For all Portables there listed).
We can't find this option. Can someone in Toshiba give me an explanation on how to start the Recovery Console with the Toshiba Installation Windows XP CD-ROM if there is not this configuration to apply?
I ask you:
I have a Toshiba Sattelite M105 s3004. serial 36272506K. I tried to enter into “recovery console” from the two Toshiba Installation CD disks and it was impossible. I have only two options in these CDs:
1- install pre-configured applications from Toshiba or
2- Format the HD and reinstall the system.

Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance

looking like that u do not have the xp installation cd to begin with - toshiba installation cd does not translate to XP installation cd. Most laptop mnaufacturers do not ship OS installation cd, keeping down cost.

cheers ...
