Downgrade to XP from Vista ... help?

So I downgraded my laptop from Vista Business 64 bit to XP Professional 64 bit. It took me a thousand years to find the driver for my wireless card just so I could get on the internet and when I tried to run the thinkvantage System Update I get Error 42 received from package server. What do I do so that I can update my system and get it working again smoothly.

Also I was installing some drivers manually one I tried to install gave me an error that it only works on a IBM/Lenovo system... which is what mine is. Any help please!!! I've been going crazy that I just killed my new comp.

You might want to ask Lenovo about XP 64 drivers. The 32-bit and 64-bit drivers are different, and XP 64 drivers are harder to find. You may also need to install some drivers before others in order for all of them to work properly.

Regardless, you didn't kill your computer.

Microsoft .NET status: Unable to determine
