Actually, not quite. Everybody has forgot to mention Wikipedia!

If you're a self taught computer guy like myself it's invaluable. Come across a term you don't understand, check on Wikipedia. There will usually be a detailed explanation as well as links to more info.

I could never be a Gentoo user for as many years as I have without it.

PS, remember when you get a specific question Google is also your friend. There are many similarities between different Distros, BSDs, Unixs you might find your answer on somebody else's site, don't be afraid to ask.
