Hi All,
I have the Sager 8790 which has cost me problems! I now have everything fixed with the video and hard drive, but now all of sudden, the screen goes black. If I look into the screen very closely I can see the icons on the screen. When I press FN->F7 to switch to an external monitor I see the picture fine on the external monitor but not on the laptop.
What's really weird is that this started happing back during March, then after about thirty days of using my external monitor, the laptop screen started displaying correctly! Then after another 30 days, the screen went black again. So I currently have it hooked up to an external monitor for the moment.
Does anyone have any idea what is causing this? I don't want to send this in for repair again, because at this point I don't believe it worth it.
