I have an all white screen. I bought another screen and it is all white also. Don't think it can be the inverter because the back light must be getting power since it is all white. This happened when I unplugged and plugged back in the screen a few times while the comp was on.
Checked it with and external screen and all is good there.
Thought I should by a new ribbon cable and try that but the ribbon cable looks real good.
Any ideas???????????
