P-6860FX Audio Feedback / Hiss using headphone jack?!?

Hi,

I just picked this up from best buy. I am using VModa BassReq ear buds and some Logitech gamer headset - both have audio feedback / hiss. Its really annoying and I use headphones 99% of the time at work. I have an audigy 2 PCMCIA, but honestly - that should not HAVE to be my only option.

Does anyone else have this problem? IE if I swap this for another one today at Bestbuy, will that fix the issue? I don't want to have to reinstall my apps.

I'm having the same problem. I just purchased mine this past weekend and right off the start up, I'm gettng a constant high tone pitch and some minute broken up noise through my headset. I can also hear it during a DVD movie.

By the way, I'm using a simple set of JVC Stereo headphones (HA-S350).

its a bad ground loop on the power outlet. i swtiched outlets and it cleared up my problem.
