What to do with the useless floppy drive space?

My Evo has a built in floppy drive that is pretty useless. Floppies, of course, are almost never used now but this one is even more useless because the last time I used it it would only work half of the time. If I took it out of the notebook is there something I could hack to put in its place? I would love to put in a usb hub with a bluetooth dongle and new 802.11n usb nic...along with a cf card reader. All of this stuff would probably not fit - does anyone have any knowledge/experience with this kind of stuff? I love this computer. It is far more powerful than I would have imagined for a notebook although it is a bit heavy.

With a little bit of creativity I could probably grow radishes in it...watering would be a bit tough though.

u r probably the first to try to fit in something else into the empty slot then. if u do, take pictures along the way and share with us

many users had success in installing internal bt modules, with some diy soldering and antenna wiring etc ...

cheers ...

Do you have any links of people that have done these other mods - the bluetooth?
