Tired of the pop-ups halp?

Im getting ever ad banner on NBF doing a pop up taking up half the screen with the add......

Is this normal? If so can we talk about ad blockers then??

No, this is not normal. There should not be any pop-up advertisements on Notebook Forums. You might want to run Ad-Aware or a similar program to check if you've got some adware or other malware that's causing the pop-ups.

No, there shouldn't be any pop up ads, Laura will email the ad agency this morning to remind them once again.

Removed today.

It's called an "expandable ad" but we have been getting multiple complaints about it.

Thanks for pointing it out and confirming TP. Let me know if anyone has any more problems.

I saw a horizontal scrolling ad at the bottom of the page today. Scrolled along the bottom 1/5 of my browser for like 10 or more seconds. Slows down the user from vertical scrolling (with a mouse, etc) although it does have a "close" button. This allowed?
