I recently bought a Hp Pavilian DV9700T Series entertainment note book. I'm looking for a reputable registry cleaner. I tried Regcure and it worked absolutely horrible. I had to run a recovery since it was crashed. So i was wondering what you 64 bit guys are using? The Specs of my computer are as follows

- Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack (64-bit)

- Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T8100 (2.10GHz/800mhz)

- 17.0" diagonal WSXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display

- 4GB DDR2 System Memory

- 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS

- HP Imprint Finish (Radiance) + Fingerprint Reader + Microphone

- Intel PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection

- 240GB 7200RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive (120GB x 2)

- LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support

- 8 Cell High Capacity Lithium Ion Battery

- Microsoft(R) Works 9.0

- S-Video slot

- External monitor port

- Expansion port 3

- Rj-45 Network jack

- Rj-11 Modem jack

- HDMI Port

- 3 USB ports

- 1394 port

- Digital media slot

- Express Card slot

- HP Wireless Mouse

. cCleaner is doing a fine job for many 64bits users that i know of
. there is always this argument of "cleaner" than "clean" when come to registry, and noone has yet defined what it is, so
. if u feel that u need a registry "scrubbing", a clean reinstall of ur comp would be the best bet

cheers ...

Update...

So i downloaded the free CCleaner and it worked out great. Sped up my computer a lil bit. Boots up and shuts down a lot faster now. This is a great program similar to registry mechanic. Thanks for the info!!!!
