I've grown tired of lugging my Hypersonic to and from classes. Battery life is terrible and the thing weighs a ton and a half (not including the monster power brick) My other laptops are all older IBM thinkpads, and they have always been reliable machines. Because of this I'm looking for a mid-size mobile widescreen laptop from lenovo.
I do a decent amount of CAD work on my Hypersonic as well as a good deal of gaming. (you can throw graphical editting on top of that as well) I've heard that the quadro 570 model is roughly equivalent to an 8600GT. Long story short, I'm curious if I could get some decent frame rates off the higher end quadro. I'm not asking for a killer gaming rig here, just would like to know if I can throw down some portal or tf2 on low/medium settings while I'm out and about.
edit: and just to clarify, I'm only looking at thinkpads, and the touchpoint mouse is a must.
