P-171S FX hard drive full size not recognized

Hi I recently formatted this laptop and installed xp and it only recognized 230gb instead of 250gb. Even when I use my acronis image to go back to vista, its still 230GB!!


How do I fix this?

If it worked and DID recognized the 250gb with the Gateway OEM Vista, then I think you know what you have to do.......

It's the case of actual and advertised hard drive space. Your 250GB hard drive only has 232GB of usable space. Actual disk space is usually 7% less than advertised.
