Hi everybody
So here s my story. All my life I was a PC gamer. If anybody come up to me 4 years ago and say that I will be holding a ps controller, I would laugh in his face. But, I settled down, bought a 40' 1080p TV, bought a 360 and a PS3 and they are ****i*** great. I used to be a PC maniac. Making my own water cooling systems and just playing with the hardware but my knowledge stopped when the GF6800 and X800 series were introduced. I just had to be on the move so i had to gave up gaming. Now I m settled down but my situation has just changed. I m gonna be on the move again and I dont wanna give up gaming. So I want to sell everything: TV, surround sound, 360, PS3 and buy myself a nice laptop. Now when I was around Alienware were making pretty fast laptops but their customer service was more than horrible. Dell was pretty ok with their xps series but most people were buying clevo machines. Sager, hypersonic etc. Now since dell bought alienware have anything changed?? When Should I be buying a new laptop, I ve just read the new 98000GTX are coming this summer. What about externatl graphic cards, are they popular nowadays??? I dont have a limit on the laptop, it must be powerful enough to last me some time. At least 2 years. I need the best of the best. SLI minium. I need your help, if i m gonna spend so much money on a lappy. I really dont want it constantly being at repair service. and no Voodoo laptops, I m not a maniac but lets have a $6 grand maximum price.
Thx in advance

Well if you want to buy a decent gaming laptop I actually have a Dell E1705 for sale which isnt quite as flashy as the XPS series with the lights and whatnot, but it has the same specs:

Dell Inspiron E1705 Specifications:

CPU: Core 2 Duo T7200 @ 2.0 Ghz
RAM: 3GB DDR2 667Mhz
GPU: nVidia Geforce GO 7950 GTX 512MB GDDR3
HD: 120GB Western Digital Scorpio 5,400 RPM

Im selling for about 750 + shipping (~30$)

It can play most games with very good framerates, except Crysis, but whose laptop can? haha, well umm, if that doesnt tickle your fancy, then I would suggest a Sager/Clevo with a single 8800GTX. They run about 2600-2800 but their performance is great.
